Actually the E*******l College was to allow the States to even out the popular v**e.
So the States that didn't have lots of people still have a real chance to elect the President.
That way, the large population of one State would NOT out way the States with less people in it.
This was proven when Hillary had more "Popular V**es" but did NOT carry the E*******l V**es needed to win.
We are a Republic, NOT an actual Democracy.
Otherwise California, New York, Chicago, ect would always elect the President.
IF we were a Democracy, Hillary would have won.
A lot of people that slept through High School Civics complained about the E******n that put Trump in.
