Happy Hump day!! 🐫 Woot Woot Woot!!
Did you know it's also Houseplant Appreciation Day?? Don't do anything silly like trying to hug your cactus, just talk to them.. they're happy with the Carbon Dioxide from your breath. (Brush your teeth first. Nobody likes morning breath)

It's 37Β° and the wind is howling. It's to get to 39Β° this afternoon. It looks like the winds may die down late tonight.

We're on the road today. I have to take the Wifey to Johnstown for depositions for the legal case from her accident 3 yrs ago. This has been a long drawn out mess to put it lightly.. We'll be glad when it's all settled..

Murphy's Real Laws:

1. Everyone has a photographic memory. Some don't have film.

2. He who laughs last, thinks slowest.

3. A day without sunshine is like, well, night.

4. Change is inevitable, except from a vending machine.

5. I just got lost in thought. It was unfamiliar territory.

6. When the chips are down, the buffalo is empty.

7. Seen it all, done it all. Can't remember most of it.

8. Those who live by the sword get shot by those who don't.

9. I feel like I'm diagonally parked in a parallel universe.

10. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say will be misquoted and used against you.

With that, I present to you Hump Day.. use it to the best of your abilities!! πŸ˜ƒ

And a good morning to everyone from Nebraska! I would rather still be sleeping, but we've all been down that road.
It's 20Β° now and might make it to the upper 30's. But another winter storm is heading this way tomorrow.
Love the rules Doug but the sad part is that I can relate to some. Have a good day everyone!

Good morning all. 39/53 today. Wind is still high. Woke up turn the coffee pot on sat down in my chair turned tv on boom lights go out. Received a message my lights were out and not sure when they will be back on. Ok so maybe I should call them and tell them I am not able to pay my bill and I am not sure when I can get in there to pay. Have a great day everyone.

Good morning Troy, ask them to adjust your bill πŸ˜‚ , we were out 3 weeks after a hurricane in 2004 and still had a full electric bill (estimated) they said, you can't win πŸ₯΄ hope things gets better soon πŸ™

Troy, your lights being out reminds me of a corny joke my dad liked to tell. Where was Noah when the lights went out? In the dark. I know, πŸ‘Ž

Good morning Doug, Troy, Brad, Joel, Chuck and the morning crew.

Yep the winds are still strong here too. Got to figure out what was making so much noise on the roof yesterday. Hoping it was coming in through the soffit. No water inside but a occasional knocking until the winds shifted last night.

Troy the generator is keeping the Still running, no worries there buddy.

Good morning Doug and everyone. Good luck with the lawyers buddy.
47Β° cloudy and breezy here, going up to 49Β° with possible showers later. Got a little water in the cellar, but not too bad, all of the snow, except for the piles, is gone. Most of the rivers are ripping around the state, but we'll survive. Happy Hump Day everybody.

Well the wind did a job here. Took down a big white line in the front yard right at the street. Only thing keeping it up are the phone and cable wires. If it comes down, it will completely block the road. The police have closed the road, but the idiots just go around the sign and drive through. Lost the top out of an old pin oak in the back as well. That one I will clean up. Might have to replace some split rail as well back there.
