Hi all,
I've got an impromptu couple of days off this week, the 9th and 10th. Looking for any recommendations, recent reports and tips for LMB, Trout fishing in or near Denver like Jim Baker, those ponds on Lowell, Aurora reservoir, Prospect Park(bass lake). Fairly new to lake fishing and not really sure how to snag a bass, especially in colder water/temps. Any advice, tips, tricks, cheats, etc...would be great and greatly appreciated. Should mention I'm shore fishing and not really sure what tackle/lures/baits to use. I've got an open face reel and a 6ft ugly stick pole if that matters...? Thanks again!
Thanks all!!

Fishing for bass in the winter you can use crank baits, jigs or live bait. When using luers fish slow as the bass will not expend much energy. Use live bait (minnows or nightcrawlers) use a bobber and depending on how deep the fish are you may have to raise or lower your float.
