Just trying this out. Looking to search out some new spots to try in winter around Ponce Inlet. I rarely fish the actual inlet due to boat traffic. Two years ago, I was finding a lot of quality fish but trout, pompano, reds and slot snook have been scare. Seems to be since the hurricanes that number have dropped off. Hoping to learn if others are finding fish. I’ve been fishing these inshore waters for decades and this is the slowest action I have seen. Maybe it’s just me or maybe not.

Welcome aboard Snooker. Haven't fished down that way in a few years. Good luck and I hope you find them.

Welcome to the stage I’ve had luck there at low tide but when it’s in to much lost tackle hanging up in the rocks have you tried Sebastian inlet just down the road from you not far at all it seems to be the hot spot lately I’ve seen a lot of neat stuff there and catch some good fish

Yes I like Sebastian but is about 2.5 hours to drive there. I have a boat ramp in my Community that accesses the Ponce Inlet area, so that is where I fish 95 percent of the time and had no problem finding fish right up until that last batch of hurricanes, then it started to get tough and just getting worse. Could be the grass kill in the lagoon A few years ago but I hear that there are A lot of fish in the lagoon now. Anyway, I was hoping someone was having some luck around here.
