Hey yall, I'm a newbie and need some pointers on flats fishing in crystal river this time of year. Any help with bait, time of day, location would be greatly appreciated.

Don't know the area myself. I do know that if you wade past your ankles you're not the top of the food chain.

Had to look that one up. Interesting looking boat, like a cross between a very long canoe and a rowboat. The one that popped up for me had a stern console.

Crystal river should be good for all kinds of both fresh and saltwater fish (probably crabs too).
I’ve never fished right there cause never had time or new where access the water, but maybe someday.
