After the response from my previous post on Chicago I remembered a couple of of other groups some might remember. Doug Ingle and the iron butterfly they did a song called in a gada da vida, they didnt last long. Doug lived one block from me growing up in SD. Another SD guy Gary Pucket of the union gap played at a go go bar called the quad room in a bowling alley that my wife and I went to in 1966 they were called The outcasts. And I would see him at the grocery store in Clairemont on occasion.

The clairemont bowl?
Just up from mission bay? I should have grown up just a block from there.
Clairemont high, class of 79 aka ridgemont high.
I had several older brothers and cousins in that area surrounding the bowling alley.
I used to travel up to visit the occasional snow by you.
It’s possible that I worked at that store you mentioned in the early 80s
Gotta go, I’m self employed and my boss is a jerk
Bassthird out!

That’s the one, I might have bowled there in tournaments back in my school days, class of 62 Crawford High. I grew up in east SD. But in 65 and 66 I lived in Clairemont off Balboa and Genosee. And the grocery store was right there. My wife graduated from Kearney high in 63. I wish I lived in Idaho, pretty country. Been there once in 67 around Lewiston fishing for trout and picking huckleberries. My wife has relatives in Clarkston WA.

Saw Iron Butterfly lived at the Spectrum in Phila. They did a 22minute version of Ina gadda da vida! There guitar player Eric Braun was only 17 yrs old at the time.
