I have mostly fished Kansas, Oklahoma and North Texas for Bass Crappie, striper and Wipers. I am living in Pensacola until June when my house will be ready in Panama City.
Would love any advice on what type of fish are best to fish for over the next few months. I don't have a boat so it will be from shore inland or surf fishing.

Try Navarre Beach pier! 1500 feet out into the gulf. about 20 miles from you. Bring a chair, LOL. Anything and everything you can think of out there. Skip jack, King Mackral, flounder, even possible Black Fin Tuna.
When my son was stationed there at the AFB he bought a year long pass for the pier and caught all of those off the pier.
Almost forgot, Ballyho bait can even be bought at Walmart.
