does anyone have a good technique for catching sea mullet (whiting,kingfish) i really love the taste and i go to avon and corolla obx and surf/pier fish every year for at least a week and my goal for 2024 is to catch enough big sea mullet to have a fish falay. also any obx surf/pier fishing tips for avon and corolla.

Best thing you can do is toss a piece of shrimp on a pompano rig into the water just outside the breaker line. You might get a bonus in a nice pomp as well
