For you classic rock tunes guys, just heard a TV commercial with Chicagos song 25 or 6to 4,my favorite from them. Google lyrics video of it. I never knew all the words until today. I’ve got all their albums and CD’s. From the early days. Anyone have a favorite song of theirs to share?? Another favorite group of mine is Creedence Clear Water Revival.

I loved CCR, and still like their music. Really loved Steppenwolf too.

How about Hey Joe! There was a movement several years ago to ban the song due to the lyrics…really!

The band America, a song from your neck of the woods, Ventura Highway and the Eagles Take it Easy. Both on the mild end of the spectrum for me. On the opposite end, Montrose and Rock Candy. And anything in between including your mentions.
Amazing how, back when we were cruising around in our “whatever”. We bobbed our heads, pounded the steering wheel, shook and gyrated, but never “heard” the lyrics! Still listen to those classics today but am “hearing” what they played!

Color my World from Chicago. Willy and the Poorboys by CCR. Foxy Lady by Jimi Hendrix, I’m Goin Home by Ten Years After, I Don’t Need No Doctor by Humble Pie, Journey to the Center of Your Mind by Amboy Dukes, Aqualung by Jethro Tull, Whole Lotta Love by Led Zeppelin, Funk#49 by James Gang. Just a few of my faves.
