Looking for an updated fishing report for Eagle Lake Ca, located on Lassen County. Also, looking for any tips for bank fishing with flies or lures.

Moved to Susanville, from Tulelake and am currently boatless. Caught a lot of fish from a boat trolling flies, have never fished off the bank. Any thoughts?

There are Lg Browns that troll the rocky areas near the shore early morning and around sundown, Was stationed in Herlong and fished the banks, couldn't afford a boat.

There are no browns in Eagle Lake. The Eagle Lake rainbow is a strain of itself. It can survive in the alkali waters of Eagle Lake, where other species of trout can't.
