In today's digital world many of us don't read a actual newspaper.
Who, from the past said " If you don't read the newspaper you are uninformed. If you do read the newspaper you are misinformed:"?
Sounds pertinent for today doesn't it?

I still read a newspaper. It used to be daily now twice a week. Not much news mostly opinions which I usually skip as most are not news. Comics are down to one page and they are my favorite part of the paper.
A bit of a Oxymoron coming from a newspaper man.

Alright Frank. I agree. Anymore I use electronics to see whatโs happening but I will read and browse through some of the local papers here. Iโm at edge of Mt Hood and there is a few different small papers that are actually free.

I still like a paper to hold and fold when needed . To much aggravation reading from a screen when you have to finish something 4 pages in the go back .

It was on January 1st 1963 when I took over the newspaper route in town. I had around 40 customers for morning delivery & maybe 50 for evening delivery. The price for a month's subscription was raised to $1.55. I had several customers quit because that was too high a price. A single paper, morning or evening edition, cost 5 cents. I made 2 cents per paper. I stayed on that route for a full year. I learned responsibility but didn't get rich. Times have changed.
There's no evidence Twain made the statement โ but quotes misattributed on the internet to famous people is a common occurrence. For example, some falsely attributed a quote that appeared to address "cancel culture," a fixture of early 21st century internet discourse, to 19th-century Russian literary giant Fyodor Dostoevsky.

Jer is correct. Wuffy nailed it.
Samuel Clemens aka Mark Twain is attributed to the quote " If you don't read the newspaper you are uninformed. If you do read the newspaper you are misinformed "
Weather he actually did or did not they are very sound words.
