With the new 365 day license, you can't buy your license early unless you go on line. You can print a copy for you use until your license arrives by mail. Anything you don't already have, ie 2nd Rod Stamp will be the same if you want it. New tags, will be 365 days from when you apply.

As far as I know Grizz, that's the maximum allowed by the state. Even then you have to purchase a 2 rod stamp AND be fishin in waters that allow the use of 2 rods.

Wow that's terrible Saw.
MD allows 3 rods 2hooks per line.
Pa 3 rods multiple hooks per line.
No extra charges .πŸ‘

Yeah, not out here.
Alot of the waters only allow the use of 1 rod per person. Like the Napa and Petaluma rivers. β˜ΉπŸ‘Ž

I'm not exactly sure why. Something to do with fishin in waters considered part of, or connected to the bay/saltwater. πŸ™πŸ€¨πŸ‘Ž

That's kinda vague.
I thought maybe because of over fishing.
Yall have a pretty healthy fish population right

I think we do but who am I to say.
I think if you impose a slot limit and enforce it, what difference does it make how you get there.
Usin 2 poles and goin with boat limits instead of individual limit. You still are only allowed 2 fish per persons on the boat.
2 people, 4 fish limit. 3 people, 6 fish limit.
However, that's not the way they look at it.πŸ™πŸ‘Ž

That doesn't make much sense.
PA n MD both have limits.

Only rule both have for using up to 3 rods are. You must be in close proximity to all 3.
Can't spread them out real far.

I just renewed mine at the bait shop a couple of days before Christmas. Old one expires January 6. New one starts January 7.
