LOL is funny. Some people here leave thereโ€™s up until after 6 Jan something about old Christmas. Never heard of it. I have seen lights up all year because they figure they want have to do it next year. Plus Christmas in July. SMH

I tried leaving mine up all year once but by time Christmas came around again the wires were shot and shorted out. So instead of just putting lights up, I first had to take down the brittle old ones.

I had done the same with a string of LED lights. They were so small, you didn't notice them when they were off.
The squirrels chewed the dang things up!
