Just wondering if there are any Elks that might be able to identify this item. It was given to me today by my father. It was his father’s ( my grandfather). My grandfather was an Elk, Detroit c chapter in the 1940’s. I believe that it’s over eighty years old. We think that it was used to hold stick matches, not sure. If anyone could provide some info it would be greatly appreciated.

There's one on ebay, described as a sterling silver Elk match safe.

Asked Hutch who is an Elk but he couldn't tell how big it was.
Someone says match stick holder. Sounds good.
