I finish up my grandsons mount today
I cut the board out of walnut
I boiled the skull in peroxide and some of the small bones got brittle.
He was hurting with me and and it was his first deer. The empty shell is the actual shell that he shot it with and the arrow head is one I napped out.
Going to be his Christmas gift.

Really awesome. I would have loved having you as Grandpa. Great job. Great gift. I was given my grandpa’s 7MM Mauser that he hunted with. I put a long eye relief sniper type scope on it and used it to hunt when I started hunting.
