New PB caught tonight.
Thought I was going to get skunked tonight then I land this monster. 8.49 pounds & 24.5” long. Felt like a 10 pounder. The mouth was huge. This bass snapped my new Lews Medium Heavy Lazer HS Speed Stick which sucks but i’ll sacrifice a rod to catch bass like this anytime. This bass was caught with a Strike King Rage Bug Magnum playing the bottom.

Just wondering where you caught that big ole bass? Lots of lakes around your area.
How deep were you fishing and what weight and kind of line? If it was 15 to 20 feet deep, then it would really feel like 10 lbs. or more.
