Welcome. You won't find many trout in Southern Indiana except for the parks where the state has stocked some of the small lakes. However, bass is a different story. I have caught bass and crappie at Patoka Lake, about 2 hours from you. You are closer to Lake Monroe, but I have not fished there. I'm sure there are a lot of smaller lakes near you.
