Check out blackmouth status inside P.A.harbor. Also, the Elwah might be open below the highway. Both subject to current regulations. The Sol Duc has a great steelhead run. But you’d need a guide to fish it right and all catch and release. I caught 5 last time out.
There is no winter Blackmouth season in marine are 6, including P.A. harbor.

Travel over to the Bogi, always has decent winter Stealhead, just check regs.
What is open in Area 9? Dungeness Sequim area reports..?
Not much right now,I would recommend checking each area on the WDFW site and always check emergency rule updates. There has been limited winter Blackmouth fishing since the beginning of Covid. I would like to see at least a two week season without the tournaments as more fish are needlessly killed during a tournament. Good luck.
Are Lyre and Elwa open for trout, steelhead or salmon? If so, what sections of those rivers? Thanks...

The lower Elwah is closed through 2024 to allow continued recovery after dam removal.

Dam removal, it’s gonna kill more in removing the dam than they will save in the next 50 years
Take your political jabs to the attic. I could care less. Most come here for fishing news and reports, perhaps to escape some of what you think is so clever.

or to escape bad information??
It is not new news that both dams on the Elwah were inefficient ecological disasters. One of the best runs of Chinook in the straight was destroyed. I believe that point can be made without what amounts to petty name calling and political baiting. However even your last post shows your inability to do so.

Didn’t mean to ruffle your feathers…
WOW... Didn't want to start any negative flow here. Just would like honest help on Lyre and Elwah rivers. Anyone have current positive feedback on Lyre river? Thanks...
No worries, my feathers are good. Merry Christmas
