Has anyone been fishing the DuPage River? If so, what area and what kind of action are you getting? The Des Plaines river has been very slow in the Lemont area.

30 years ago I used to fish the DuPage. Caught some nice bass one outing and my son caught a bullhead in excess of two pounds. Don't know what it's like now.

A few years ago I would fish in Channahon Illini State Park below the dam there. I would pick up a few smallies. Nothing really big but fun to catch.

That Channahon park is not bad. I had the same experience a few years back. Never fished there in December or January
