Where and what is the highest posted speed limit in the United States?
If you have ever driven this stretch of road have you, or anyone you know been cited for speeding there?

Montana used to have no speed limit on the highway, back in the '70s. I believe there's one highway in Texas with an 85mph limit now.

Yep, 85 is the highest speed limit I've seen here in the States.
Believe it or not, I haven't gotten a speedin ticket on one of them though I've driven on several of them.
However, that is bout the speed I go. 80 to 85 is bout average. Not that I haven't exceeded that but I try to keep it closer to 80.

I was doing 78 in a 70 on I-94 in Minnesota, and got rear ended so hard I had all I could do to keep it on the road! His Jeep was totaled and my pickup had 23K in damage! What speed limits😳😳? Hey, I’m crazy, but regularly cruising over 80, I don’t know!

My Honda or my Ford F 150 4X4 will easily do a hundred but I REALLY try not to do that.
Occassionally I look down and see 90+ and immediately back off.😖👍

I-10 in Arizona I think is 85. I-80 is in some states. Things could get really ugly at those speeds. Tires, mechanical, obstructions etc. 70 is about my tops. And I get waved at by those flying around me ☝🏻… ya, right…😂🐟on

Agree! Over 80 I’m thinking about the tires and that maybe my response time isn’t what it used to be…….not to mention the speed limit is 65. I’ve seen 75 posted in other states.

I will guess Montana. I know it's a least 80 on the roads I've been on.

Hmmmm, not so sure you back off. Remember I have been with you on the road. If you enjoy the "E Ride" at Disneyland, take a ride with Steve
