Yesterday's trip.
Jumped on the opportunity to do some black seabass fishing before the season closes down on the 31st. Went to Ocean City MD and rode on the Morningstar. I have never in my life had a better day if catching than this one. I can't s a y I counted every fish but between a couple dozen sharks , 15 keepers and somewhere around 100 shorts I was worn out. I literally didn't have a bait on the bottom over 10 seconds all day, and I didn't take any breaks other than when the boat moved to a new location.

Congrats on a great day of catching! You picked the right time and boat to go fishing. We went straight out OCMD inlet a few miles to sunken boats/wrecks on a head boat in July with rough water and light rain. The entire boat caught only one fish. We picked the wrong time of year to go out on the boat!
Wished I was there, them kinda days are getting harder to come by.

I'll add them in, the last one one fish hit the bait. Then a second stole the bait from the first and got hooked on the same hook. Meanwhile a third fish took the second bait. So I caught three fish on a two hook rig.

Very nice Flytier, youβve got some fine eating ahead and had a blast doing it!

That is some good fishing and we will be jealous of you. It sounds like you had a skipper who didn't want any unhappy people on his boat. Rest up because next season is coming, just not fast enough.

Had a blast is putting it mildly. I can't remember catching over a hundred fish on one trip ever
You had a great time getting some good eating! Hard to top that!
