Yea Eastern I will meet you there. NOT!!! Sticking my arm in a area that I can't see what's in there just not for me. Watched it many times on TV and just shake my head. Right up there with catching gators. Bad enough looking out for snakes around the house don't need to willingly give them or any other critter my body parts.

I have related my "noodling" experience on this forum before. Gotta love muddy water and be able to hold your breath awhile, as well as having a good grip.
Tips: shave your arms and wrap with duct tape ! Wear old tennis shoes, the need to "gain your feet" after a grab, might save the day ! It's been 40+ yrs since I've been, but I have to say, it was memorable the few times I went. Especially when Tom grabbed what turned out to be the biggest cat I ever saw in person....80+ lbs flathead ! Damn near drowned him, two of us had to wade in to help......and keep an eye out for snapping turtles !!!
My hat is off to you Fixor, Never saw the duct tape trick. That would make a great commercial on TV. Once again Nice going.
