I am Brian Evans, I lived and fished for 12 years in Georgia mostly in lake Lanier and the streams of north Georgia. for Trout, bream and bass, including stripers in Lake Lanier . I then moved to San Diego and did mostly salt water fishing , calico bass Halibut , yellowfin, Albacore bluefin tuna , and Dorado ( Mahi Mahi) for 28 years. I have now moved to Cleveland TN and am eying Parkville lake ( lake Ocoee ) as a place to start fishing freshwater again I now have a senior citizen resident annual license , I have mostly salt water rods and reels, However I have a couple of lightweight spinning reels and some martin fly rods, What is the fish load in the lake I have been told largemouth and smallmouth bass some Muskie or pike nobody has mentioned trout or bream ( Bluegill.) or catfish.
Anyway looking forward to fishing in the lake , are any day permits required ?
Brian Evans.
Welcome Brian from Alabama Bill
You have excellent Lakes all over Tenn. just ask locals and you will find great fishing around for most anything.

Went up to Jackson lake today ( lake Ocoee.) observed the posted rules for fish take allowed, noted that you have to have a trout stamp to take trout. I also noted that for Muskie they recommended tackle like my salt water gear.
