DEVOTION #50 “WHY IS THE WAR IN ISRAEL HAPPENING?”

Greetings and Happy Lord’s Day to all Fishing Stagers and guests!
It is great to be back, after missing last week, and I am anxious to continue talking and posting videos about the topic of Israel that was started in Devotions #46 and #48.
I believe what is happening today in Israel and Gaza, has EVERYTHING to do with, not only Israel’s future, but also the future of America AND the entire world. I also believe that the more we KNOW about Israel, the better we will understand, just how these events directly affect us here in the U.S.A.
The simple answer to the question in today’s title would be: the Jews of Israel are facing opposition from their neighbors, who are trying to eliminate them. That would be correct, but in reality, it goes MUCH deeper than that , and involves far more than just Israel and their neighbors.
It takes very little awareness or discernment to see that the Jews in Israel are not the only ones who are facing opposition from the forces of evil. Those same forces, have been trying to censure Christians across the country and the globe for centuries. A very clear demonstration / illustration of this was carried out by seven fellow stagers, in “real time” on November 27th, right here on Fishing Stage; all in response to my posting a Bible scripture on the thread, “Observations of an Old Guy”.
I’m not sure if these people who voice their opposition are against God, the Bible, or just me, the messenger. By the things they say, it’s sometimes difficult to tell; like
“Stop trying to push YOUR religion, or YOUR beliefs on us!” Also, “Stop cramming YOUR religion down our throats!”, or “Why do you judge everyone?”
Since when do these grown men need to be force fed..? They are all old enough to “eat what they want”.
And… for the sake of clarification,
the entire Bible had been completely transcribed about two thousand years ago, so NO, I had nothing to do with writing ANY of it.
Therefore, I can claim no credit for Christianity, religion, or anyone’s beliefs being MINE! (I’m not even seventy years old yet; c’mon guys -
gimme a break!).
If God’s word (scriptures) makes people FEEL “judged”, please don’t blame me - it’s NOT MY WORDS!
I’m just the messenger.
Anyway… enough of that, but I did want to give “credit” to those stagers who illustrated this week’s devotion so well.
A big thanks to Namvet for his contribution, by giving us a short Biblical, summary of Israel’s history that goes very well with this devotion and first video.
In Pastor Allen’s first video, he gives a very detailed historical, Biblical, and prophetic timeline of events in Israel and shows how perfectly they ALL THREE line up with each other. Pastor Allen has spent years in Israel while growing up, and also studied there, as well as getting a History degree and Theology studies, in the U.S.. He also draws parallels between Hamas’ opposition to the Jews, and those who are opposing the Christians everywhere. The evil is increasing every day, as I’m sure you all have noticed.
In the second (bonus 😁) video, Jackson talks more about Israel and also about the courage that is required by Christians , and Jews , to stand up to the demonic spirits that we war against.

Beginning this coming Wednesday, I will be posting a mid-week study series, titled BIBLICAL ENDTIMES PROPHESY. It will be videos about the approaching end of time, according to the Bible, and be narrated by various ministers and speakers. These are not crazy “chicken littles” or fortune tellers, but are folks who speak only what is contained in God’s Word - The Bible. For those who DO NOT believe the Bible, please refrain from posting your opinions or contradictory comments. I DO , however invite positive comments and/or questions from all serious Stagers. I am not an expert on this subject, but I am familiar with several people who are - that’s why I am not personally teaching this study, but instead am using videos by others, which I have screened.
I hope you all will find them as helpful and informative as I have.

Thank you for your support and encouragement, Joel. I need to be reminded now and then - even of the things I know so well. It’s easy to take the hatred and rejection of God, personally, even when it is really the Word of God they are rejecting, or in some cases, the convicting power of the Holy Spirit. I admit, I am stubborn and find it hard to ignore my compassion for souls, and just go ahead and “shake the dust from my sandals”. I read that scripture often, but still need a “Gibbs slap” to get my attention sometimes. Thank you, brother! 🙏🏻
