When I got up this morning the temperature was 45 sun was bright looked like a great day to go fishing. Had a couple things to do in the house for Susan and then Nebraska volleyball game to watch By then the wind was blowing 45mph gusting to 55. Should of went fishing first.

You did the right thing Ed. If you went fishing first that wind would of been blowing alot stronger in your house.

It's almost Friday, but we did get to our favorite lake today and regret that you couldn't. Maybe we should have stayed home too because all we accomplished was to get our lines wet.
I tentatively started to make plans for our trip to MO in July and are centering in on Pomme de Terre over Table Rock. We haven't been there in decades.

Pomme de terre is a great lake Truman seems to be a better lake for fishing keep me in the loop and we will have to get together

👍 Will do. Years ago I fished there and remember nice crappie from the shore using jigs. Actually we waded out up to our waist but I was young then.

My dad loved to fish, but didn't go fishing very often. He would always try to get all the "need to be done" stuff completed before going fishing. That is one of the few issues on which I differ from him.
