Well, I looked at the weather reports for the week we were goin to be up here and it showed that it was gonna be clear and sunny for a few days before we were gonna leave on Thursday the 7th.
YEAH, RIGHT ! Started snowin earlier this afternoon and there are chain controls up right now on all the roads leavin the Tahoe area, headed west anyway.
There's bout 6 inches right now and don't know what it's goin to look like in the mornin.
Now none of this would matter IF I had brought my F-150 4X4. BUT NOOO. We decided to bring the little Honda Civic.
Glad I'm retired and we don't HAVE to be back in Windsor tomorrow. So we'll just have to leave when the roads open up enough NOT to have chain controls.
It was a gamble to bring the Honda this time of year but the weather wasn't suppose to be like this.
Guess somebody forgot to tell, or check, with Mother Nature first.
Y'all have a good night. Saw1.

You shouldn't trust a weather person that gets paid whether they're right or wrong

Yeah, I'm not worried about it. It is what it is.
We'll just have to wait till the roads are clear enough for us to not have to put chains on, It's all good. We've got plenty of food here and the car is in the garage, full of gas.๐Ÿ‘

I thought you would like that one. Hope you can get on the road as planned, doesn't sound good, but at least no pressure. Safe travels to you and Susan when you do.

Mother Nature certainly has a sense of humor that is far beyond our comprehension at times. Hunker down and just enjoy being together in a beautiful area. Thereโ€™s no pressure.
Take in the view.
