Since I live alone I eat out a lot.
Either at a steak house or a family type restaurant.
I can buy a whole pie for $10 at the family type restaurant.
Many to choose from but this is my favorite.
I know, I know home made is soooo much better.

Larry I bought a pecan pie at Sam's club for Thanksgiving.
It was much better than the ones they previously made.
This one was very good 👍

I picked up pecans from the tree in my yard cracked them Susan picked the nuts out and I made us a fresh pecan pie much better than any restaurant or Boughten pie

One of my favorite pies. Is there a Golden Corral where you are ? I tried a new one here, many choices of everything.

I've got one about 60 feet tall. It's a miracle if I get enough nutrients off it to make a pie. Squirrels love that tree. I do collect the twigs that come down for the smoker though.

🤣🤣 Jimmy I use to have a heck of a time with squirrels.
They'd empty the birdfeeder in a couple hrs.
A few years back I relocated 24.
Left a couple to entertain Chylo 😊

I tr I Ed trapping and moving. Didn't work. They kept finding their way back. Took out 36 squirrels in six weeks. The foxes ate well.

Jimmy, squirrel and dumplings was a great meal when I was coming up, y'all got me wanting to go out back when Kay is gone and get a mess of them 😂
