In the next few weeks we will be celebrating Christmas throughout this world.
What do you do on that day and if you do or do not celebrate, and why if you do not believe?
Gimme, gimme, gimme, heavy on the me.

I absolutely believe, but I have not celebrated Christmas since 2020 when my wife passed away for the simple reason that December 25 was our wedding anniversary as well. Just too hard to celebrate without her.

Prayers coming your way for Peace.

Sorry to read that Bruce, we all are different in how we deal with our grief after the loss of a Loved one. No matter what time of year it is.
Moving on has no time limit to it and yet you still Believe. That is so pleasant to know that belief helps you get through each day.

Very understandable Bc. My heart sank as I read what you shared and another prayer went up for you.

That would certainly be a good reason I n not to celebrate. I'll remember you in my prayers that day

We celebrate His birth as we also come together like we do on Thanksgiving at my daughter's house.
SO sorry for your loss Bruce.
I can't imagine how hard it would be to go through life without Sue.
I do know the feeling of the loss of a child.
That's a tough one to get through but if your marriage survives, you can get through anything.
My prayers for you brother. 😔🙏
Bruce, our hearts open up for you and a prayer is whispered. I have to be the luckiest man in the world. Linda and I are working on our 60th year and it is still a great adventure.

With 194 views to this moment How come only Believers are posting here?
Are the non believers afraid to admit to celebrating Christmas without the reason for the season?
I think more than myself would like to know.

That is unfortunate and understandable. Last year was my first Christmas without my dad. It still hurts each day but after while. Just after while it will be alright.
