This morning I went outside to find a turkey sitting on my truck. Seems she may be trying to take the place of my frog masgot?
She's friendly enough and doesn't mind being petted so I gave her a handful of natural sunflower seeds . Possibly she might be a neighbors bird which we are trying to find out now? Everyone is at work so I'm stuck with this bird all day it seems. The dog is curious but isn't mean to it just a little chase that's all and the bird just hops up on the truck or now room 2s Toyota Camry and seems content to hunker down on the trunk.
She's a very friendly bird regardless and is quite welcome till we find it a home or perhaps it will just befriend my dog and hang out here too? 🐸🐸🐸🐸🐸🇺🇲🇺🇲🦃🦃🦃

Probably heard we did fish and not turkey for T-Day!! Figured it's a safe haven! We're all about helping rescues and people/ critters in need of a second chance. That's what we do!!! Thanks for sharing🐸🐸🐸🐸🐸🇺🇲🇺🇲

Fred; it started out as a Christmas accent and seemed to add layer after layer to the tune of about 8-10" . I'm ready for spring now that's enough for me, thankfully the 4 wheeler pushes it with no problem except the simple fact I gotta be on it. 🥶🥶🥶🥶 Sure beats the snowblower from two years ago. We got 8-10 while Erie 20 east of us got about 2-3" . This lake effect is really crazy how it puts snow down around here. It's often said " if you don't like the weather in Erie , just wait 10 minutes"!!! We get some different snow being 1 mile north of interstate 90 and they get hammered with all together different totals . That's so "cool" of you to be that kind to her.
Hope she finds her way back to her home. I'm sure her original owners are missin her and probly concerned.
However, if she chooses to remain at your place I'm sure she's in good hands and is as safe as she could be.

I will of course do everything I can to find her owners I've had them before and she will be ok if she stays .

My dog is wondering what this is and while she's here we treated her to some plump juicy nightcrawlers . She accepted right out of my hand 🐸🐸🐸🐸🐸🇺🇲🇺🇲🦃

We had fish also. Needed a change. First year just the two of us.

Gordon ; it was a nice change and the guys really enjoyed it was alot easier to clean up and take care of the leftovers. The main idea as I understand the holiday is the celebration of the bounty and the gratitude that God provided it to us. Besides the bird showed up too late!! 🦃🐸🐸🐸🐸🐸🇺🇲🇺🇲

saw ; still trying to find the owner. This bird freely followed me into my fishn'/ storage building which is heated for the night more crawlers and fresh water and a nesting area . I must be going out of my mind,😁🙄🙏🦃🐸🐸🐸🐸🐸🇺🇲🇺🇲
