Got out this morning, my road to the lake had a fair amount of deer hunters parked along it. Everyone stood a good chance I see a lot of deer to and from the lake Everytime I go, be nice if they thinned them out some🤪. Had to work around a couple duck hunters most of the day kept me out of some spots I wanted to fish. There was some thin sheets of ice floating around in the lake so it won't be long now😭🥶🥴. Got 6 just to take a few home tuff bite today . Did stay warm, that sun really feels good on wet hands. The weatherman shows cold and snow starting tomorrow night so this most likely will be my last trip. I'll break down the yac and get it power washed then store it away till spring😭. It's been a good season and I've got some stored away for winter. My ice fishing will be letting the ice thaw that's frozen around the fish.🐟🐟.One pic of T-Day fish frying. Nice Andy, you’ve had quite a run with some darn nice bass and perch. Too bad you’ve got no interest in ice fishing because it really is quite a blast and with the nice perch, gills and crappies you’ve been posting lately I think you’d have a great time. Just wondering, have you ever given it a go?

Years ago I did ice fish , just never had a lot of time . Now just don't have that interest and in the past few years the ice just hasn't been thick enough. I'd never say never but I really don't like the cold and there's plenty to do to stay busy like painting lures and maybe tie a few flies in the warm. It was a blast when I use to go .
