I was looking into the fishing report this morning and it says the outlook for fishing today is "poor"...immediately I summed up that the people putting that out there are clearly not fishermen! Ya ever heard of a "poor" day to fish? Naawwww .... the fish are just the "gravy", the fishing is the meat and taters!!! Love and Good thoughts to all! God Bless....

I Agree Pam! A Good, Bad, or a Poor Day Fishing is Always Better than Any Day Working!😁

I'm no pro, yet been at it since I could walk. Now I go light and simple! Modesty goes away when one is w/o transportation, I gotta walk to my spots...I travel lightly! So I go fishing almost every day...my fam thinks I've lost it, I tell them I FOUND it! Eventually I'll re-acquire all the fishing niceties...😁 Be well and have fun!

Oh yeah...so true! I retired a couple years ago, then my husband died, so from there I went fishing...and just forgot to go home! Honestly tho, life HAS to go on, and what better way to heal than with nature, sunlight, quiet evenings, and a fishing tribe! I've only run across 1 rude and unfriendly fisherman...all others are like kin. πŸ‘πŸ½ Stay happy all!

It seems that I usually catch more fish on the β€œpoor β€œ days

...and I thought I was one of a handful who felt that way Uncle T! Sat out in the nice rain a couple days ago from morning until evening...the temp was good, the rain was light,...heck, why go home? πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

I agree PamDee.
If you make it all about the catch you're missing the best part of the trip

One good thing about the pour days and the rainy days is that ya don't have to fight for a spot to fish. Welcome aboard Pam! 🐟 🐠 🎣

Pam, first welcome to the stage.
Second, fishing is always good, sometimes the catching is lacking.
