Greetings all Fishing Stage members and guests!
This week’s devotion is actually an extension, or part 2 of, Devotion #46. As such, it would be beneficial to review the text from two weeks ago, before watching today’s video by Allen Jackson, which was recorded about 3-4 weeks ago. In this video, he talks about what has led up to the events that are happening in Israel today, why it has turned into a war, why it is so very important to us in America, and lastly, how the war will end!
Hopefully, this will also help clear up some of what has been “misunderstood” on Fishing Stage this week, concerning the battle of
“good vs evil”; NOT being the same as “red vs blue”. Choosing good over evil has nothing to do with party affiliation! However, according to the Bible, we must make the choice of whose “side” we will be on - for God, or against God.

“But Jesus knew their thoughts, and said to them: “Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand. He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters abroad.”

“But if you refuse to serve the Lord, then choose today whom you will serve.
But as for me and my family, we will serve the Lord.””

When I think about this war in Israel against “God’s chosen people”, and what Bible prophecy tells us, it reminds me of a couple scriptures:

“Pray for peace in Jerusalem. May all who love this city prosper.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭122‬:‭6‬ ‭NLT‬‬

“You can make many plans, but the Lord’s purpose will prevail.”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭19‬:‭21‬ ‭NLT‬‬

I agree with praying for the Christians on both sides; at the same time I can't help but wonder why the Palestinians didn't report to Israel what Hamas was up to years ago. They didn't build all those tunnels over night and it may never have gotten to this point. Just asking.

Just read where the two bordering countries of Gaza are Jordan and Egypt. Neither country will permit immigrants from Gaza to enter. Reason being the Hanas are part of the Muslim Brotherhood, which is against monarch governed countries, which are both Jordan
and Egypt. They’re Islamic radicals (Palestinian) that other Arab countries in the region want nothing to do with. Remember, they elected Hamas into power. That came from mouth of son of Hamas founder, who converted to Christianity.
