You just can’t put this dog down.
Son Ben is down in Tennessee for some muzzleloader hunting this week so we’re watching his Britt Boone. He’s a super high energy young man that needs to be ridden hard and put away wet to tire him out. I’ve been trying the last 2.5 days but have not been successful. Ran him unsuccessfully for pheasants last night, some woodcock this morning and threw his frisbee up a large hill for retrievals to tire him out, just not happening. Need a bit of of a break from the boy for a while and do some fishing. A gorgeous day near 60* and gotta get away from the meth head for a while. A couple of pics from last evening and today.

Good luck wearing out a Brittany. They seem to breathe in energy.
Try a tennis ball, and you use a racket. He'll retrieve till he's tried I hope.
Thanks for the replies guys, he is the most high octane dog I’ve ever met. Son Ben should be home by Sunday and I’m looking forward to the break from the maniac. He and our dog Bo ( even though quite a lot smaller than Boone) are both alpha males and it’s always a bit of a power struggle when they’re together.

Dang. Wish I was there to help. I'd run pheasants with him.
Great looking pup. They are both fun and exasperating at the same time.

They may have their power struggles, but I'll bet they make you smile

Heck Steve, you’d be welcome to come on over. To only 3,000 miles or so.
