Where is a good place to go crab snaring in fort Bragg CA. Also do you need another license besides your state fishing license to fish or crab on the Beach??

Used to fish rite off the docks or on jetty if calm .

No other license than your state sport fishing license needed for snaring crab. happy crabbing!!

Take care and check the official regulations. Being miss informed by someone on the internet doesn't cut it with the warden. Some states, like Washington State do have a separate shellfish, seaweed license and Dungeness crab punch card. It has been so long the last time I fished or crabbed in California that I have-not a clue about current regulations. Get the right paperwork, check the season dates for the local area, relax and enjoy. Good crabbing to you. I was going to go today, but the weather in the 20's on an open boat got the best of me.
