Good day! I'm not new to fishing, but I'm new to fishing the right way. I'm closest to Lake Rhodhiss and have caught a few channel cats and bluegills. I like the bluegills a lot and would like to get my hook into other types of fish. Some of the baits that I use are bread, worms, crickets, and stink bait. Any information on catching anything else would be great. I don't have a boat so I would need good locations on for fishing from the banks.

Welcome aboard Sh. I have only fished in Fletcher up in your state. Only freshwater fishing I do is for catfish. I also use stink bait with a tube and sponge hook. Always get my limit with the stink bait. Good luck on your fishing.

Obviously I have never fished in your neck of the world, but bank fishing is bank fishing anywhere.
When I fish from the bank I enjoy throwing spinners along the shore line ahead of me. We have pulled many fish out of the rocks and holes on the retrieve. Before you dismiss the idea you can see that it makes sense. After all, when I'm in the boat I am mostly casting towards the shore, so why do I cast out away from the shore when I'm on the bank?
