A knot I need to know
I am pretty new to flouro and I very much like my braid line. I have decided to try flouro leaders with a braid back. The people is that I'm not sure which knot is really the best for tying them together. The double uni or the alberto or something else entirely. Any help or advice you can give would be greatly appreciated.

I've always used the double uni knot, its pretty easy to learn and holds well.

I've been digging the Crazy Alberto. Seems like a pretty low-profile knot. Doesn't ever hang up on the eyes. (I use it to connect mainline to bumper/leader)

I use the Alberto. I like to make sure that when I'm winding my braid around the FC leader, I do it neatly and tightly so that the end knot is nice and compact. Also, keep in mind that pulling the braid line tag end is what cinches down the knot so make sure you're holding the FC ends tightly when pulling the braid.

Cannot go wrong with double uni-unless you have micro guides
Go online and look up the FG knot. It winds the mono/Floro line around the braid line several times giving it almost 100% strength while providing the thinest knot possible. It looks to be hard to tie, but, is really very easy to do.
FG knot or Crazy Albert knot.
Hey Darkphoenix83 and other anglers! There’s a very good so called “fishing knots”, try it.
Autocorrect sucks ap, not so...
I use the Albright special for tying fluoro leaders to braid main lines. Small, efficient and relatively easy to tie. Look it up on line and give it a try!
I have always used the double unit but may look into the FG or Albright for my casting rods. Double uni flies right through the spinning rod guides but definitely slows the casting rigs
Be care when pulling the tag line of main of braid, could easily cut into your fingers and hands!

Try FG knot or surgeons loop
Reverse Albright ! Key to this knot double braid and leader wrapped over , fill in with knot sense or zap a gap , makes smooth strong connection for bigger fish !
Freshwater smaller fish uni good choice !
I use a swivel as a connector - avoiding the line to line issue
