Kbunnell Loc: Calaveras Big Trees

Hello, I have a few kids from 4-8 years old and we are near Calaveras Big Trees park. Looking to catch a few trout, what is the best time and locations? We have fly and spinning rods. Thanks for any help!

Only three days left for trout stream fishing closing is Nov. 15. Lakes are open. If fishing from the bank I would use power bait and mouse tails. New Melones is close to you I would try bank fishing around the launch ramps
