Years ago we lived in a double wide trailer and it had a very sensitive smoke detector. I always teased the wife that the kid's thought that it was the dinner bell.
She didn't think that it was nearly as funny as I did.

I learned at around age 12 to cook. My mom got tired of trying to keep supper warm for me when I would be out fishing or hunting til dark. She told me I could eat it cold or cook something myself. Cold supper got old real quick, so I asked her to teach me to cook. Now I can cook for one or a house full for Christmas and anything in between.

I feel your pain, I always think I am more funny than the wife thinks.

I enjoy cooking but only for the wife and I.
