PB Smallie at Lake Mohave

Took a trip up to Lake Mohave this morning, an hour north of Lake Havasu and put my kayak in at Katherine's Landing on a nice sunny Arizona morning. I lost a 2 lb Smallmouth as he jumped three times, got him close to the yak and off he went. Soon after I was drifting a Morning Glory plastic worm across 25 ft of very clear water and ended up in a cove, picked up the rod and had a big fat Smallie on the other end. Hooked well and a good fighter. A fun morning... plus a personal best at 4.05#!

Sorry Griz...I just noticed they're called Morning Dawn by Yum 5" Dinger. (Purplish/Blue) with a circle hook which are always good but at least he didn't swallow it.

Thanks KC, as you know Havasu has been kinda dirty the past month, lil green with an algae outbreak so Mojave was a nice change. You could see a lil algae growth there too but it's still so clear.

Yep you're right I recognized the color n I was just organizing my stuff today.
Since my accident I've had some memory n focus trouble.
