Took my wife Josie to Parker again yesterday to have a little bass fishing morning on the small pond off the Colorado River on the California side. I caught a few largemouth, small ones and one maybe two - two and a half pounds which is the biggest that I've ever pulled out of this small pond.
I've always thought that the fish are stunted here and as it gets very little action and probably not a lot to feed on. Then Josie screamed that she had a fish on and it was a 12 in fat crappie. He broke the line somehow and she soon found the fish swimming on the surface along with the line so she pulled it in by hand and got him in the yak. She cooked him on the grill last night for dinner and meat was very nice and white... fun experience.

Nice catching Langer and congrats to Josie! That's a beautiful slab of a Crappie, and to basically catch it twice is great. He was destined for the grill. Thanks for sharing.
Nice fish. It looks like a nice spot.
