Was woken up at 2 am by what felt like heart burn on Friday morning. Went to ER at 7 AM. Got checked for heart problems, did a ct scan. No problem with heart, but they thought I had a stone in my gallbladder. Got a check on gallbladder but it was clear. I was kept overnight to make sure I was alright. Before being released, doctor told me to get my cardiologist to check me out as he thought although they didn’t find anything he thought it was heart related. Have an appointment with cardiologist on Monday.

Frank, I was in your shoes 8 years ago but no heart burn. Upper chest pain middle of the night on a weekend and hard to breath. White blood count was 30,000 and 8 hours later over sized gallbladder removed.
By all means get checked out, I was and informed months before the surgery that I may have a problem in the future and I let it slide.

Definitely get to the Cardiologist and get checked out Frank. I'm hoping it's nothing serious. Good Luck buddy.
Within the past week I had a thorough check of my heart. I have yet to get any report of whether there was a problem, or not. I usually am reluctant for tests when there are no symptoms, but I did have a change of medications and also pain, or what seemed to be 'heart burn'. It went away but I suspect that at my age (soon to be 89) I won't get much, if any, warning.
When I am gone, I hope one or more of you will step in. You have seen enough of my writings to give you a clear pattern or prototype. My high school teacher, Mrs. English, probably would laugh at my offerings and give me a 'C' and tell me to do better the next time. Just Sayin...RJS

Really good you're getting it checked. Not everyone does, then scrambles at last minute distress. Best wishes!!

Frank,
Best buddy from childhood cancelled nine days at Powell in October. He went in for a stress test and ended up scheduled for a double bypass. He exercises regularly and eats a healthy diet so you never know.
