A good day at Diamond Valley Reservoir. We trolled umbrella rigs from 7:30 to 10 am and caught 3 nice fish, hopefully l can post some pictures.
After we caught enough to last us for a few weeks we started large mouth fishing. From ten AM until 1:30 pm we caught over 50 small large mouth bass up to 15 inches. Most were between 9 and 12 inches. My wife and I had a very fun day with fish for the freezer .
I need to shout out to Eric Sanderson who works very hard to put us on fish!

PaulFish,
Re: attaching pictures.
When you create a topic, click on the browse button to select your photo.
When you send a reply wanting to add some photo, I think you may have to "quote reply" in order to gain access to the "browse" button.
Hope this gets you closer to adding photos as this is what this Stage thrives on.

When you were trolling and caught the nice fish, were they stripers?

I found out the hard headed way that the "add attachment " button is kinda hidden below the text box. A fellow stagers guided me thru it. Maybe that could be the issue?

I'm not sure but I'm pretty sure that you are right.
They are closed today but you can get the number on line. The last time that l rented a boat there it was 160 for the day and the boats were old and slow.

I get a senior discount and pay $21 on Wed (discount day) and $27 for other days.
That is for just me and my boat. If I have a buddy with me, I believe it is $38. Most expensive lake in SoCal.
