I would like to know where to catch trout in October and November in spokane wa
Roosevelt or Waitts Lake might be good opportunities

Other lakes nort.h of Spokane open year around are Davis and Jump off Joe. The Little Pend Orielle chain between Colville and Ione are also open year around. Access can be a problem and snow can also restrict things. Good luck and tight loines
I fished Waitts lake this weekend it was kinda slow but did catch a limit at Jump off Joe lake yesterday evening

Many places to fish near Spokane but the opportunity dictates the type of fishing that is best for the specific instance. Do you fly fish? The Spokane River is full of 16" and larger Rainbow trout that are very willing to take a fly or if you have light spinning gear a small spoon or spinner works as well... That opportunity is available right in Spokane. If you prefer, the lakes as suggested in other replies or there is a multitude of others like Coffee, Williams, Amber, Rock and Badger Lakes Southwest of Spokane. All are somewhat accessible from shore and if you have a small boat even better, though some have a no combustion engine restriction. And some have selective gear restrictions. There is information available on the explorwashingtonstate.com site as well as the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) at

Try Long Lake (Lake Spokane) down near Tum Tum.
Check the regs. Badger Lake is closedd for the season.
Roosevelt Lake is a bit of a drive but can be good shore fishing in places.
