Today we had a NW wind but only around 8 mph. I started out with a crappie which I kept, the rest of my time was interesting got some nice gills, one nice perch, two Bass , and some cats. I kept two for a guy who lives here, let one big one go because I didn't want to put him in my fish bag,( laundry bag) thought he might tear it up. He was 6+ # easy. Then I lost another big cat that broke me off taking my whole slip bobber rig on my ultralight, only using 6# test on it. The strange part of the day was catching the bass on small pieces 1/3 of a crawler. I started late and finished early but had a good day. The guy I gave the cats to ate them already, cooked them on his grill. 🐸🐸🐸🐸🐸🇺🇲🇺🇲

That's the cool thing about fishing with crawlers, al.ost everything that swims in fresh water will eat them. Nice catch Andy
