Any help would be appreciated. It’s been brutal lately trying to find some fish.

Anytime I fish the lower St Johns, Palatka north, I only throw a few baits. A spook, buzzbait, pitch a jig or beaver bait, or a spinnerbait. I have tried lots of others but they are the baits that work for me. I can’t comment on particular fall baits since I’m usually in a treestand from September to January.

Spinnerbait catches are starting to pick up near Tampa for bass and it should get even better as the weather cools.
