I went out for a nice afternoon on the river. Tried trolling but no luck, went up to the Dam for a hr or so an nothing so started back down river an fished a few downed trees and nothing 😳. I went on down below my river place and fished on bottom an finally got the skunk out of the boat 🤗. I fished there tell 5 then went and picked up Jay. We fished the Same spot tell 7 last night. I caught 5 small cats an 2 sheepheads ( fresh water drum) about 3 lbs or so. Jay caught a couple little cats also. Beautiful day on the water

Sounds like a fun day in the pursuit of fish! Some days it seems like we work harder for the bites than others but at least you found some hungry ones!

Nice stringer Jim. I'll be out your way soon. My SIL turns 80, so wife and I are we going out to visit for a bit

Thanks for the pictures buddy.It's actually pretty low but it usually is this time of year. that's why I haven't taken my boat out yet, still some good fishing 👍

Looking at your pictures again I noticed that the 3rd pic looks like a small blue cat maybe one of the new stockings.

Ok, I didn't see too much bank under the trees. Leaves on the water is a PITA unless you're bait fishing.

It does make it harder to troll. You have to run your rod tips down under the water to keep them clean.
