Threw a something pumpkin colored finesse worm with a 1/8th ounce bullet sinker Texas rigged with a 2/0 hook, hit hard and immediately went into the branches of a downed tree, got tangled and had to break it off. Oh well next time maybe
Here are some pictures
Didn’t get any fish but it was a really nice day

This part of the lake was so smooth and like a mirror

I know that feeling Uncle_T. I had one good bite today, a 2-3 lb Largemouth, who jumped and threw the hook as I reached for the net. Beautiful pictures, and lots of wildlife to keep you company. I had a turtle swimming around but he submerged every time I got close. Thanks for sharing your day.

Love the pictures. Most of the time the pictures I take are more of a high point than the fush I catch. It's what makes it all worth while.

Really complimentary pics there Uncle, especially with the wild life. Never was able myself to get that close to a turtle on a log. He must have been sound asleep.

That’s the closest I’ve ever gotten to a turtle they usually dive into the water as soon as they see me
