If postcards were popular, I bet I could make em.
The lake scenes are gorgeous, I'd not have to fake em.
We fished for 3 hours, threw all in our box.
Catchin was slow so we photographed rocks.
A feller we saw with his boat fulla screens,
Said he couldn't catch em, we know what he means.
Cold weather and rain is just 3 days away,
So we're happy we got to enjoy this great day.

Great pome and beautiful pictures Mike. Glad to see that you avoided the skunk anyway. Do you have Smallmouth down there? Those rocky banks look like Smallmouth heaven. Thanks for sharing your day my friend.

Yessir, we have brownies here. If I did a creel census, it'd be in the neighborhood of one smallie to 50 blackies. They're in here, just elusive. Thanks for kindness, buddy.

Love the pictures and are glad to see your catch. It's been many years since I fish Table Rock or hunted on some private land that reaches the lake. Our plans are to move back there before we get to old to launch and run the boat. Keep us updated on the fishing through the next few months so I can get my wife more excited about the idea of moving. She really likes the walleye fishing here in Nebraska.

Thanks to you both! Several years ago, Table Rock didn't have much of a population of walleye, certainly not enough to muster a good reputation for catching that beautiful fishy. That's changed after much work done to increase the numbers, so don't let mama write off walleye fishin here at the Rock. I can put you with a guide that you'll love who WILL put you on walleye and at least get you some good Intel on how and where to find em. I'm not a walleye guy, I have plenty of stuff designed to catch them, but I have the Bass Addiction, so there's that. So many reasons to move here and the variety of lifestyles are crazy, from the calm west end to the very busy east end of the lake, there's something for everyone.

Ya dang betcha! It's like we were sitting in a fishin magazine front cover photo shoot. We could SMELL the bass! Thankfully, our brief meet-up with another gentleman (assuming we are gentlemen as well πŸ™„) kept us from goin home all verklempt and wimpy with slow catchin. He told us that from his perch on his $80,000 rig loaded with electronical spy stuff that he saw tons of fish, couldn't buy a strike. Our weather is fixin to change a bunch in the next few days, 80Β° Saturday with tons of rain, 48Β° Monday. Purty sure I'll not have my worm out any of those days.
