Well me and Dan decided to do a little Sunday morning fishing before football games came on the TV * it stated over a little chilly… since Dan’s a Lions Fan… really we stopped fishing about 12:30 pm and we stopped for that… lions and panthers need some help. Well the fish have moved into shallow water and Channel Marker 8A around that point to the white Shoals marker to the north held a ton of spotted bass… it was 45 minutes of crazy… all sizes, tail walking, jumping… crazy…. we lost a couple real nice ones but landed a lot of fish. There was a jerk in a green ranger that pulled up right were we were obviously heading to and if you are the idiot in that ranger bass boat reading this… me and Dan will have a big surprise for you next time… good thing it was too early for cold brews but we will be sure and give you a good old fashioned Missouri boat ride next time…

Nice catching Duck. Sorry about Dan's Lions. I hate inconsiderate fishermen, although I don't see too many of them. Pleasure boaters are a different story, most of them are clueless morons.

Nice post Duck. I didn't expect the lions not to show up. Should have stayed in the water.

Yeah, the Outlaw Josey Wales and a Missouri boat ride....Ok... catching bait is kind of fun for a while, especially on a beautiful slow day. Yes, in Texas those are considered bait fish. Nevertheless thanks for sharing a great time.

Watching football is almost as frustrating as rude people.

Came across many of them at one lake I use to fish.
Others fishing n pleasure boaters that would buzz fisherman in a no wake zone.

You see the same thing on the highway every day 👍👍

At least you got a few before the game 👍👍

Yeah, I completely agree. Lake Norman is way over fished and is not the lake it was 20 years ago… decent fish are few and far between, for me it’s more of a mess around, have a few cold ones and hang out with my buddy Dan. I have pretty much given up Bass fishing, the Carolina Coasts are where the true battles happen… like this Cobia from July I landed on the Comanche Reef in July this summer, that’s fishing.
