Hi Susan here. I’ve fished my whole life in Puget sound but would like to take a stab in Lake Wa for salmon runs. Is anyone fishing for coho this late in the season.
no ma'am , but interested myself.
they have been having good luck in lk sammamish.
I’ve heard the chinook are running in Lake Sam. Might be too late for lake Wa this year.
yes ma'am, agreed. probably a good trout or two. and i am sure some great bass.
and its the best time to be out. all of the fairweather folk are hibernating and the weekend warriors have stopped for the winter so its fun to be able to get out and enjoy the lake as it should be.
Def more serene:) I do have to say I am a winter wakesurfer though. I go then for the same reason. Fair weather folks are inside. But we respect the fisher people:) we cat Tomas of perch ams bass off our dock on lake Wa. Looking for the elusive Kokanee though. And those late cohos and Nov chinooks. Might be looking at early spring at this point.
thats great. i am liveaboard just above the locks.
way more serene and i do a lot of photography , so the colors and contrasts in the winter are incredible some times.
and the sunsets right out my back door are amazing.
gotta love being on the water.
The best! Enjoy. I’ll post if I have any luck with anything. Lol.

Please, just remember that a skunked post can be just as informative as a success post. Good luck
ha ha ha ha ha ha
so true. one learns a lot on those skunked days.
patience.
For real:) I’m just wondering if they are still in lake Wa or Samammish or have they moved too far up river now.
